Five thousand generations of birds has been collaborating with Fitjar municipality since 2010. Bente Bjelland, head of cultural department, is the representative of the municipality and a member of the projects local resource group.
The local resource group started in 2011. They have been working with public management, security and logistics. The groups manager is Lene Tufteland, and the members are; Jorunn Hernes, Geir Tore Søreide, Dan Torbjørnsen and Sissel Jørgensen.
Ftg of birds is supported by KORO, in 2012 we where chosen as one of KOROs main productions.
UKS (Young Artists Society) has since 2010 contributed with organization and production assistance.
Five thousand Generations of birds is a non-profit organisation with org nr, 997 166 051. The Board consists of: Silje Linge Haaland, Andrea Bakketun, Hanne Sætre Thunestvedt and Lene Tufteland.
