HOW TO GET TO FITJAR

FROM BERGEN:

By Car:

Follow E39 south to Halhjem, direction Stavanger. At Halhjem, take the ferry to Sandvikvåg
(The sign at the ferry dock will say Stavanger). From Sandvikvåg take a right turn onto Rv 545, Fitjar is app. 6 kilometres from Sandvikvåg.
Total travel time Bergen - Fitjar app. 2 hours.

By Bus:

Express bus from the main bus terminal in
Bergen to Sandvikvåg. Corresponding bus
from Sandvikvåg to Fitjar.

For local bus Sandvikvåg - Fitjar: www.skyss.no, use the search engine on the right hand side of the web site. There will be put up festival buses on Friday the 10th, Sandvikvåg- Fitjar and Sunday the 12th of August, Fitjar- Sandvikvåg.
